Why Tv Remote have LED Bulb?

Reasons to have a LED Bulb in TV Remote:

The remote bulb (infrared light emitting diode) emits a type of light that we cannot see with the naked eye. And this light is called "infrared ray".

Tv Remote have LED Bulb

The wavelength of the light we see is 400-600 nanometers. And we can't see the light above this wavelength. The light bulb used in the remote has a wavelength of more than 600 nanometers. Since the wavelength of the infrared ray is greater than the wavelength of our visible light, we cannot see this ray with the naked eye. The TV remote generates this infrared ray and sends the signal to the TV. Thus TV remote control our TV.

Test a remote without TV:-

The funny thing is that this light can be seen with the camera of the mobile phone or other camera system. If we turn on the phone's camera and press any button on the remote, we can see the light on the phone screen. The reason why we can see the light is that even though our eyes cannot see the infrared rays, the camera of the phone can detect the infrared rays. And in this way we can test whether a remote is good or bad without a TV.
